Weekly Devotionals

February 4, 2026

Do you feel the pressure to have everything figured out? Whether you're navigating college, the rush of mid-life, or looking for peace in your later years, the "noise" of the world can be overwhelming.  Today, we’re sitting down with Matthew 6:32-34 to talk about the radical relief found in seeking the Kingdom of God first. We explore how we can stop "running" after the things the world prizes and start resting in the fact that we have a Father who already knows our needs.  You don't have to carry the weight of tomorrow. Let's look at how Jesus invites us into a different way of living—one marked by grace, provision, and a peace that doesn't make sense to the world.

ear has a quiet way of shaping our walk with God—especially when we’re struggling, tired, or unsure of ourselves. In this devotional from 1 John 4:18–19, we slow down and listen to the gospel truth that God’s perfect love casts out fear.  This video is for the believer who:  • Feels anxious about disappointing God  • Struggles with guilt or shame  • Wonders if God’s patience is wearing thin  Together, we’ll return to the finished work of Jesus and rediscover the peace that flows from being truly loved.

In Matthew 18, Jesus tells a sobering and freeing parable about forgiveness, mercy, and the danger of holding onto what Christ has already released. In this devotional, we walk through Jesus’ teaching—not to shame struggling believers, but to encourage hearts that are weary, wounded, or wrestling with forgiveness.  If you’re seeking to follow Jesus faithfully in a difficult world, this message is for you.

If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and only seen your mistakes, this conversation is for you. We often try to "perform" our way into God’s favor, but the Bible tells a much more beautiful story about who we already are because of Jesus. Together, we’re exploring what it truly means to be a new creation, an adopted child, and a saint—even on our messiest days. I hope this encourages you to stop striving and start resting in the grace that has already claimed you.

January 7, 2026

This devotional  is for believers who are exhausted and in need of God’s comfort and encouragement.  In this video, we reflect on Isaiah 40:29–31, a powerful reminder that God gives strength to the weary and renews those who place their hope in Him. If you’ve been carrying heavy burdens, waiting on God, or feeling like your strength is running out, this prayer is for you.  Take a few quiet moments to slow down, listen to Scripture, and pray for renewed strength—body, mind, and spirit.

Who holds your New Year? (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1, Revelation 22:13)  As we step into a new year, many of us are looking for a fresh start. But in this devotion from Redeemer’s Word, we discover that we don't just need a "new beginning"—we need the One who is the Beginning.

"If you could choose any place for a King to be born, you would choose a palace. But God chose a feeding trough. In today’s Christmas devotional, we explore the 'Inverse Kingdom' of Jesus Christ. We often feel like we have to have our lives perfectly 'cleaned up' before God can use us or be near us. However, the story of the manger proves the exact opposite: Jesus doesn't wait for the room to be cleaned before He enters it; He is comfortable in our mess. Join me for 10 minutes as we look at Luke 2 and Philippians 2 to discover why the humility of the Nativity is the greatest source of encouragement for those of us who feel weary, overlooked, or 'unpolished' this holiday season.
